Malona Village, Rhodes

Malonas is a charming hilltop village, surrounded by citrus groves and packed with traditional, whitewashed houses. A few casual bars and tavernas sit alongside vacation apartments on quiet streets, and the interior of the 18th-century St. George Church is richly decorated with Byzantine-style frescoes and gilding. Hiking trails wind through the nearby hills, and the beach at Charaki is a short drive away.
