Rhodes makes an impression at the international tourism exhibition "Vakantiebeurs" in Utrecht

Rhodes makes an impression at the VAKANTIEBEURS international tourism fair in Utrecht, which opened its doors on Thursday, January 12 and ends on Sunday, January 15. At the exhibition, the Municipality of Rhodes has an autonomous presence with a PROTOUR stand and is represented by officials from the Tourism Directorate and the independent Public and International Relations office.

The Rhodes pavilion, which was visited by, among others, the ambassador of Greece to the Netherlands Mrs. Katerina Gini, is a pole of attraction for visitors and a networking point, hosting the meetings of the executives of the Municipality as well as businessmen of the island with representatives of the tourism industry, tour operators, etc. New, thematic videos about Rhodes are constantly being shown, while rich printed information material about the island is available.

The data for Rhodes, as it emerges from the meetings held on the sidelines of the exhibition, is particularly positive for 2023, as more seats are planned for the destination during this season.

With the VAKANTIEBEURS exhibition, which attracts more than 100,000 thousand visitors each time, a large circle of participation of the Municipality of Rhodes opens in the major, international appointments of the tourism industry. The goal of the Municipal Authority of Antonis V. Kambourakis is to maintain and further strengthen the tourism dynamics of the island, which in 2022 exceeded all previous record arrivals.
